Cruisin' for a bruisin'.....................from Rico

This advert for a Chevy SS-427* Camero at an MSRP of $3,650 reminded me of cars 'back then' before unelected government bureaurats and apparatchiks inserted themselves into the auto industry.
- It is more than a just vivid reminder of how government FUBARs everything they get involved with, but a swell example of INFLATION. Yeah, the dreaded "I" word that we don't have, and is targeted at 2% by the FED.

Today, you can be the proud owner of a Chevy Cruz, all 1.4L* 4-cylinders of it, for an MSRP of $24.4K to $29.7K.

So much for "cruisin" today's lucky consumer has to settle for a financial "bruisin"...

*For the metric-challenged: The 427 above refers to the engine size in cubic inches; saying 1.4L conceals the fact that the engine size is a meager 85.4 cubic inches.
- The 'switch' to using liters instead of cubic inches was intentional and very much akin to saying "sociopath" instead of "psychopath" because it sounds nicer.
