- Ancient Democrats of the Truman-Humphrey-JFK mold were their poitical champions, and their NFL team the Vikings were revered as the Purple People Eaters.
Something 'happened' over generations to the literal descendents of Vikings (speculated to be a forced diet of Socialist Tofu and Progressive Poppycock) the state mutated into the 'Land of 10,000 Taxes' aka Minnesnowta, and their team became the 'Viqueens.'
Today, having been fundamentally transformed by the Marxist Team Obama, and under the feckless stewardship of the likes of Timmy Tampon Walz and Brother-Lover Ilhan Omar, beneath a Somali Pride flag, well...illustrative of the modern misfortune of 'New Mogadishu' is their NFL team (which will be cheered-on by some gay guy) which might as well be renamed the 'Purple Nurple.'
