Theo's Thoughts on Libya...........
This is in response to email conversations...........I am no expert but if we screw up Libya things will only get worse.
'Send in French Foreign Legion, the RAF regiment thats in France right now and the USMC thats offshore. Mix in the special forces from various outfits and we might make some progress. Wondering if Mossad could deal with Gadaffi, cos if he is still in power in a month things are going to get long term and nasty through out the middle east. If we can't deal with Libya then Syria and Yemen are a non starter. This is very similar to the downfall of the iron curtain but with a lot more violence and trouble to follow. We must act quickly to keep the locals onside before the 'Muslim Brotherhood' et al build an hard core islamist movement in north africa. North of the equator is already suffering from islamist agression and south of the equator is being bought up by the chinese. Not only do we have to 'sort out' the middle east but we also have to 'control' china's growing domination of africa. Africa is a huge source of mineral and potentially farming wealth in the coming decades and the west is letting our enemies take it from us. As an Englishman who has seen a Labour government in the 40s & 50s throw away an empire without any regard for the consequences to the populations of those countries, it is a disgrace. The Commonwealth should be a trading alliance amongst peoples with a common language and common interests. Sadly the guilt ridden twits at the foreign office have spent the last 50 years apologising for the empire and not building a political/trading block that could bring some good to all those involved.'

Sainsburys: Assholes of the Day............
Popped into the local Sainsburys to pick up some chicken fillets and a bottle of plonk. Used the self checkout, had to wait for approval for the plonk only to be asked by some moronic tart if I had been drinking. Apparently if they smell alcohol on your breath they can refuse to sell you alcohol. Having just had a 'short' lunch with 3 clients of course I had been drinking. It was only 15:30 for f**ks sake. Went to complain about this bullshit only to be told they don't do complaints. Guess who has just lost my business.
PS And the plonk is rough, avoid McGuigan Estate Shiraz

In Libya, Like Egypt, Obama Enables Islamist Takeover..........by Dan Friedman
Very few commentators on the Right are talking about the possible outcomes of Obama’s actions, and even fewer are highlighting their shaky Constitutionality. That’s what happens when Obama loyalists line up with conservative priapic “democracy-lovers” and the myopic Tea Partyers, who can’t see the world beyond our shores, bury their heads in the sand. df

Movie Review:

This is a bona fide Christian film. Let's go down the checklist:
•A derivative plot based on a well-known secular hit movie (The Family Man) or classic film (It's a Wonderful Life) - check
•Central white characters of pleasant disposition - check
•Friendly minority (usually African) supporting character - check
•A snotty teenage girl who is impulsively embarrassed by her parents - check
•A dope of a hero who has fallen/is falling away from grace - check
•A troubled marriage/relationship where the man is to blame - check
•A blameless, patient and good looking ("pretty" good looking, not "hot") wife/girlfriend who has theology all figured out and is waiting for the dope of a hero to get his stuff together - check
•The helpful and slightly humorous religious figure who leads the dope of a hero down the right path - check
•Obtuse references to Jesus - check
•A forced conversion scene where the dope of a hero breaks down and finally gives himself to Christ - check
All that is missing is the bald cancer-ridden twelve-year-old with a special insight into the Christian faith.
