There HAS been a dramatic 'change'.................from Rico
There has been a pretty dramatic 'change' already, and I'm NOT talking about the ones that walking FUBAR Barry has foisted upon us against our will.
Thanks to some number-crunchers at the EPI (Economic Policy Institute), we can 'see' what has already 'changed' for the average American, and why they have that uneasy 'gut' feeling that something was wrong. It's hard to pin down for many with the Gov't 'cooking the books and reporting fantasy numbers (happily repeated by our incurious presstitutes), but it is there.
The BIG picture of average income growth doesn't look too bad spread over 90 years. Not great, but not that bad. First chart.
BUT the picture changes if you drill-down and look closely at the last 30 years. Second chart.
- 90% of the growth in average US income went to the top 10%.
Now look at the last chart. The last 10 years of 'change' was bad enough to actually be 'felt' and even the dim-witted ones who bought into the hot air emanated by both the RINO's and Democrats (C) may actually be noticing it.
- In the past 10 years the average incomes of the bottom 90% has actually DECLINED, not increased.
This is exactly what the "limousine progressives" of BOTH so-called political parties are trying so very hard to keep the average Joe and Jane from figuring out. This is also why Communists like George Soros are funding, organizing, and promoting this entire "occupy" charade...it's another great 'distraction' from the reality of the situation. Masterful misdirection...keep the 'marks' looking at one hand while the other hand performs the 'magic' of picking our collective pockets.
- The biggest picture of ALL? If this trend continues, there won't be any chance of a RECOVERY since the 90% won't have anything left to pay for products.
It's not Wall Street, or the "rich" it is an ever-expanding corporate/government killer squid that is strangling a free market, enabled by central-planning control freaks [read: Communists]. This is the BIG picture. Our government has become our worst enemy. Pogo was right.

Los Angeles Restaurant Protests Ban on Foie Gras
I love this story, although sadly it's not going to prevent the ban from taking effect:
“I want people to have the freedom to eat what they want,” said Ludo Lefebvre, one of the chefs behind the stove here on Friday. “Animal rights people would turn everyone into a vegan if they could. I don’t want animal rights people to tell me what to eat. Today it’s foie gras. Tomorrow it’s going to be chicken, or beef.”

The sad state of leading motorsports... worldwide
Its another sad ending to another series ruined by boredom. In F1 you have Redbull dominating and making it dull for all but Redbull fans. Viettel is great driver and deserves the win. In British Touring Car Championship you have Honda dominating and making it boring. Alas the winner in BTCC is Neal, who is everything that is bad about race car drivers, he is the type that runs people off the track instead of racing them. The guy won the championship despite driving his team-mate off the road in one race in the middle of the season. BTCC has done their best to ruin their series with badly thought out regulations that have handed domination to Honda and to the turbo cars. You would have expected an exciting race as the final trio of races today at Silverstone. Instead Honda made it dull and predictable.
Special recognition goes to the BTCC race marshall who allowed Boardman to deliberately wreck Jason Plato at Knockhill and then let him keep his race win. The guy doesn't deserve to be in BTCC and handed Neal the championship thanks to his incompetence. Boardman also caused another wreck in the same race that put out another car, but no sanctions.
Of course in NASCAR they have the daft "Chase" which means you can win the most races in the "regular" season and not win the Championship. If Jimmy Johnson wins again it will show how unexciting NASCAR has become. I cannot understand why NASCAR decided to introduce this "post-season". If they just wanted it to be twelve drivers competing for the title then have just them in a play-off style series. Nationwide and Trucks are still ok it has be said, partly because there is no "Chase" in their seasons.
Lets hope Speed will broadcast more V8 supercar races next year, not just two as they are this year. That is an exciting racing series that still retains the excitement you used to see in BTCC. I wonder if there is any chance of Speed broadcasting the World Touring Car Championship.
It would be nice if race sanctioning bodies stopped meddling with their series in ways that make them predictable, boring and seemingly lacking in competition.
RIP Dan Weldon after a horrid crash in Las Vegas in IndyCar. All motor racing fans mourn a solid racer.

Two Israelis Will Not be Released From Arab Hands...............by Dan Friedman

Remember that fellow in the window? He was one of the Arabs responsible for the barbaric murder and mutilation of two IDF soldiers who wandered into Ramallah by mistake in 2000. His name is Abdel - Aziz Saleh. He was arrested a year later, tried and convicted of murder in an Israeli court and has been serving a life sentence. Today, his name can be found on the list of Arab terrorists being released by Israel in exchange for Hamas hostage Gilad Shalit. To refresh your memory and get the latest, here’s the story (and a gruesome video) from Israel National News.

Thoughts...............from Brian
There comes a time when you back up and regroup. Politicaly that seems to be expedient, Rommy was never top of my list, not once, Bachman well let us just say, not gonna happen, Perry? well on paper he might be a good candidate but his fumble in debates can not be dismissed. Cain? Herman Cain? At first I was suspect, now I cast a jaundiced eye.
Thing is after a few debates and listening to his speaches i am becoming a fan,, yea yea I know a bit early to pick a horse in this race, but come on, this is a race of cripples,(no offence ment I am 90% disabled myself) they all have problems. Thing is Politics aside, the fate of OUR Country comes into play and for the life of me I can not figure out why Rommy, Bachman and Perry need to be running, according to thier platforms and thier debates the currrent crisis is just an easy fix all we have to do is elect them, They say we need Leadership. Therein lies the problem, I say we need Representatives. Not leaders,
We The People are the leaders and they are supposed to "Represent Us". I do not think I am wrong about this, read the "Federalist Papers". or read the Constitution, both will show you a new light on what we are seeing.
Right now, Herman Cain is the only person I see that has embraced what our founding Fathers put all thier money and and blood into, some,, if you actualy know history gave thier life for it.
How many today would stand so firm, stand so fast that life is worth thier liberty?
Few if any. Well ok few, there is a few core Americans that abide by and embrace Liberty Or Death. I think you will find they are also the ones that put on the uniform and fight or fought for Liberty.
To Sum up. Out of the field of so called Republican Candidates my belief is Herman Cain is a patriot and the others only wear a badge saying that.

Occupy THIS...................from Rico
It's no surprise that the Communist, America-hating billionaire George Soro's fingerprints are all over the 'occupy' faux-demonstrations.
It's even LESS of no surprise that our beloved half-Kenyan wetback is seeking to use the "occupy" movement to gain traction for his own political advantage and increasingly slim chance of getting re-elected to any office ever again...at least outside, say Uganda.
Occupy THIS you bloody fool!

'Radical progressives hate Limbaugh so much they refuse to place his commentary in the proper context...'
Here's the audio (click through for transcript):
And the full report is here: "AUDIO — Rush Limbaugh Rejects Obama Administration's Uganda Mission to Remove Lord's Resistance Army":But listen to Limbaugh. His argument is internally consistent: He opposes sending more troops to the region in what may escalate to an open-ended commitment. Rush compares Obama's authorization of force in Libya. The administration promised the mission would be measured in "days, not weeks." That was 7 months ago. No president in the post-Vietnam era has been this reckless on war powers. See, "Obama's Illegal War." And Rush Limbaugh's reference to Christians is an attack on the administration's hypocrisy. We've done nothing to help Christians in Egypt, so Limbaugh snorts...

Progressives Attack!
And they're doing the devil's work.
See: "Roundup on Progressive Campaign of Workplace Intimidation and Harassment."
I have to apologize to longtime readers who might be getting bored with such blogging, but writing about the progressive left's perpetual campaign of personal destruction, against my economic livelihood, is how I'm able to deal with the issues, keep my sanity, and of course clear my good name. As I noted earlier, there is essentially no lie that's beyond the pale for the radicals. They'll do anything to destroy opponents. And they don't stop. And virtually to the one, the complaints leveled against me have been pure lies. I'm not going to recount them. All of this is of a piece. But since many on the left are coordinating these attacks, the frequency seems to be accelerating. I'll soon know more about the latest round of allegations and lies. In the meantime, here's a roundup of the workplace attacks I've defended against now for almost three years.Be sure to read the whole thing.
