The "new (Banking) normal".............from Rico
Here's something the "professional politicians" know better than anyone, but they aren't talking about this. Neither are their apologists and kept whores in the MSM and FTV, who are only too happy to NOT provide any facts or information to "we the people" serving up an endless series of 'distractions' instead.
Our financial system [read: Banks] is broken.
Thanks to the "professional politicians" repeal of Glass-Steagall, the "new (banking) normal" is this:
- FDIC has quietly increased its Troubled Banks list by 180, and added 1,600 employees to handle Bank failures.
The 'offishul' public stance is that "all is well" but the retail banking system is now a hollow facade that has been gutted by our "professional politicians" (you know them, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Obama-Soetoro, et al).
- I cannot wait to see the unintended consequences of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform when implemented 7/15!!!
At least the bailouts of the TBTF BIG Banks created a few jobs, albeit at the FDIC so they can liquidate the TSTR (too small to rescue) Banks!
You can put a fork in it, it's done.

Yours, Mine and Ours
A husband and wife were having dinner at a very fine restaurant when this absolutely stunning young woman comes over to their table, gives the husband a big open-mouthed kiss, then says she'll see him later and walks away.
"Oh," replies the husband "she's my mistress".
"I can understand that" replies her husband "but remember, if we get a divorce it will mean no more shopping trips to Paris, no more wintering in Barbados, no more summers in Tuscany, no more Jaguar in the garage and no more yacht club. No more credit card and large bank accounts. But... the decision is all yours".
"Ours is prettier," she replies.
The wife glares at her husband and says, "Who was that?"
"Oh," replies the husband "she's my mistress".
"Well, that's the last straw" says the wife "I've had enough, I want a divorce!"

The arrogant, pompous ass known as Obama actually had the 'audacity' to say "...the professional politicians know better." and understand the Debt Crisis more than "the Public."
Yes? NO! We the Public actually DO understand what you "professional politicians" (flacks, hacks, and lying thieves all) cannot grasp:
- Paying your mortgage with your credit card DOES NOT WORK!
We the Public have been screaming "stop spending money we don't have" but you egotistical, clown shoe wearing "professionals" are so full of yourselves (and full of "it") you remain tone deaf to the cries, and indifferent to the agony, of the REAL America...the one that does not live the Neverland fantasy of Washingtoon, DC like you do!
Now that you've lectured us to "eat our peas" and the Bernank has proclaimed that gold is NOT money (like a Federal Reserve Note IS?), here's a big CLUE for you collective mensa candidates:
- The soon-to-be-former Middle Class of America will soon be sleeping in their cars, in tent cities, or on the streets thanks to you "professional politicians!"

If Only Words Could Kill (Better Than IEDs).............by Dan Friedman
This Washington Times editorial highlights some tough words from new defense chief Leon Paneta regarding Iran’s material support for terrorists in Iraq.
“We are very concerned about Iran and the weapons they are providing to extremists here in Iraq... We’re seeing more of those weapons going in from Iran, and they’ve really hurt us...This is not something we’re going to walk away from. It’s something we’re going to take on head-on,” Paneta is quoted as saying.
Sounds good, especially if you’re a US soldier stationed in Iraq. But I don’t expect we’ll see anything come of Paneta’s words anytime soon. Paneta works for Obama.

Arab world opinion of the U.S. and President Obama ... has dropped to an all time low.
This has to be understood for what it is: With the election of Barack Hussein Obama, the Arabs had every reason to believe he would put the screws to Israel. But the Arabs (and Obama) don’t (didn’t) understand how our system operates. Obama’s preferred plan for a diplomatic blitzkrieg against Israel was frustrated, thanks to his tacky, ham-fisted public mistreatment of Israel, the pro-Israel Christian Congress and misgivings by big-money givers in the Jewish community. With their man in The White House in check, the Arab’s were left deeply disappointed and their expectations to be handed Israel’s head on a plate were shattered.

It looks like the re-election campaign for Barry Soetoro has selected a slogan for 2012.
HOPE and CHANGE having been successfully used as a ruse in 2008, with guidance from the DNC a 'familiar' theme was chosen,
since focus groups demonstrated that likely supporters were 'comfortable with the familiar theme' and also 'too dimwitted to notice
much of a difference.'
So, das Hopenchange will become die Hopenfail.
HOPE and FAIL. Has a 'ring' to it, eh? Catchy, wot?

Bernanke denies Gold is Money; makes alarming claims re: roundness of Earth; ape Grandfather. Stop.
Confirming before Congress that he is a 'tool' of this colossal Ponzi scheme (no small thing, since most of Congress are 'tools' themselves...the Paul's excepted), completely denying the hard facts that:
- The value of Gold, Silver, Oil, Food has NOT increased but that the value of the US Dollar is tanking.
- Germany doesn't want a Europe where money is transferred from the ants to the grasshoppers, and it doesn't want the Greeks and Portuguese using their Teutonic credit card.
- France doesn't want a Europe in which its banks are allowed to go broke because of nothing more than their own incompetence.
- Italy doesn't want a Europe without Bunga-Bunga parties.
- Greece just wants to put a stop to being 'reared' by the EU.
