J. Wellington Wimpy is known for his "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today" routine.

- Of course, the implicit 'joke' is that Tuesday never will come. At least that's what Wimpy hopes for and intends.

 

Socialist Venezuela makes (yet another) case where socialism "works"...until it doesn't.

- Venezuela, allow me to introduce you to Tuesday.

 

Venzuela's Socialist Dictator has just decreed a 'restructuring' of ALL foreign debt, and ALL foreign payments on that debt, also saying that Venezuela will 'renegotiate it's debt with banks and investors.

- Of course, the implicit 'joke' is that one cannot 'renogiate' unilaterally. [read: Venezuela will DEFAULT on it's debt obligations; banks and investors are getting haircuts; Tuesday has come.] 

 

The next socialist states to meet Tuesday will be Illinois, California, New York, and.....
