You aint seen nothin' yet. Its been almost a year since Obama gave his second inaugural, and this year has finally demonstrated to most people that he was a horrible choice for our country. The economy is in the slumps, and our healthcare system is in shambles. Voters might want to take note, and realize that Bill Whittle, and those like him, weren't racist nor extremist--they were trying to save us from ruin.

A Tiny Taper Christmas......................from Rico
The FED's 'taper in paperland' for Christmas made me think of Tiny Tim.
- No, not the Dickensian character but the other one...the one that sang and played the ukulele.
This 'taper' really doesn't change a lot vis the FED's swelling balance sheet being stuffed with bad paper.
- Instead of monthly purchasing $45 billion in Treasurys it will 'buy' $40 billion, and instead of $35 billion of Mortgage backed Securities it wil 'buy' $30 billion. Whoopee. This is the vaunted FED singing in falsetto while playing it's ukulele.
The 'official' story would have you believe that stock markets are soaring in response because there is NO inflation, the economy is on the mend, unemployment will be further reduced by QE, and EVERYTHING WILL BE FIXED.
- Or is it being 'fixed?'
This is what the 'fix' will consist of, or at least this will be the result of tuneless ukulele playing by the FED:
- Interest rates are going UP.
- Home sales are going DOWN.
- Stocks are going DOWN (I'm hearing 20-25% from the smart guys).
- Your fiat cash will be further DEVALUED.
- The 'real' cost-of-living will continue to INCREASE.
- Unemployment is not going to get better or go away as a problem.
- Other countries ae getting wise to the SCAM.
Doubt this? This is exactly why the bullion cartel has thrown everything but the sink at the precious metals complex in concert with this 'paper taper' talk. The party is almost over in the American economic Potemkin village, and they do NOT want anyone holding bullion Gold or Silver except themselves. The paper raids have been brutal to drive the point home to the Muppets.
- The 'message' to the herd is clear: Run, run, RUN for the exits. Dump your hard assets and get into paper. Buy stocks. NOW!!!
Gee. if THAT'S what these sociopaths and incompetents want, then you better do the exact opposite or get crushed by their criminal actions.

It's simply amazing that anyone with two wits to rub together pays any attention to these monthly FOMC meetings or takes the closing press release on Day 2 with any seriousness.

The FED and Treasury measures for the last five years have been nothing more than a morphine drip providing 'comfort care' to an American economy in hospice.
- Bad debts on top of bad debts. Yeah, that'll work. TARP, Stimuless, ZIRP, QE.
TOTO works well here (no, not the rock band, the Japanese toilet manufacturer). Like 'xerox' is used for photocopy, so TOTO has become synonymous with toilet in Japan.
- Perfect for an economy that is IN the toilet, and a brilliant way to describe the market gyrations (Taper Off - Taper On. TOTO) of those fixated on the FOMC.
At least Japanese toilets 'work' in contrast to the FED.
