- Never mind that unemployment is actually ~23%. Not that the +94 million working-age people that are out of work should worry one smidgeon, the government says that despite their not having jobs they are NOT unemployed.

 

So too, with official inflation. Thanks to "adjustments" there will be no 2017 COLA adjustments for people on Social Security because there is NO INFLATION! Government says that with a straight face, too.

- Never mind that inflation is well over 10% and climbing, as anyone who has to buy food-energy-goods-services-housing knows perfectly well.

Being an election year, where would we be without PHONY POLLS? Yeah, Reuters just 'tweaked' [read: made "adjustments"] to how it polls...and "it's a miracle" we're now told with a straight face that Hillary who was 'behind' is now suddenly 'ahead.'

- Never you mind that the media's poll numbers are just as fake as the government's numbers. The 'polls' are now pure bullshit, too.

 

Who are you going to believe?

- Would the government LIE to you?

- Would the media LIE to you?

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a reaction to any email like the one I sent yesterday about Trump’s reaction to the Muslim parents’ attack on him at the DNC. Sharply divided, to say the least.

Just to clarify, so you know where I’m coming from: I (still) support Trump and will never vote for crooked Hillary under any circumstances. But there’s no way to gloss over the reality: A vast number of voters are still on the fence and still haven’t decided whether Trump or Hillary is the greater of two evils. The candidate who does the best job of convincing the electorate that it’s not them will win the White House. It’s a pathetic choice our politics has given us in 2016. But the election, and the future of our country, have come down to that.

There's no way around it, but Trump's reaction to the Muslim parents who spoke against him at the DNC was ham-fisted, amateurish and a political blunder that he may not be able to recover from in the months leading up to November. And the irony of it all is that Trump blew an easy layup to turn the situation to his advantage.

 

In this case, an off-the-shelf  political response would have served Trump much better than his cringe-worthy knee-jerk reaction and fit of pique. To put the right words in his mouth, "It tells you a lot about Hillary and the Democrats that they chose their convention to use two grieving parents of a murdered American soldier to score points for cheap political gain. Just another example that Hillary's blind ambitions override commonsense, sound judgment and love of country. Really folks, we’ve seen this all before. Is that the kind of person we want to run the United States of America? "

One stands entirely with Israel, the other pressures Israel to compromise its security in the face of terror.

One compromised our national security, placed classified information on an unprotected, private server, and then lied about it, and tries to make an issue about the other's sarcastic response that maybe the Russians can get hold of them [the relevant servers are now in a secured FBI facility, so the idea that he was actually encouraging them to do so is ludicrous.]

One has a track record of refusing to identify radical Islamic terror, and blaming terrorism on "occupation," American videos, and any other possible pretense. The other calls terrorism what it is and promises to back Israel's self defense.

One pressures and condemns Israel regarding a two-state solution with a current Arab govt. of despots encouraging and rewarding murder of Jews. The other stands on a platform rejecting the idea that Jews in their own homeland are "occupiers."
